“Amicus Curiae – experts for civil society” (2021 – 2023)
“Amicus Curiae” is the community/network of Russian independent experts for civil society, established in 2017. It is aimed to promote the high quality of the special academic (linguistic, sociological, socio-psychological, etc.) investigation for counter-extremism, as well as dissemination of the international professional standards of the experts’ work and ethics for the testimonial experts, involving in the anti-extremism cases and especially on the recently increased number of percesucuted minorities. The network engages the leading Russian experts in the field to provide pro bono consultancy, share the experience, and promoting the scientifically approved methods of research. The main goal of the network is to promote freedom of speech, justice and rule of law, and protection of religious minority.

“Sensing as a Refugee: Vulnerable Bodies on the Move” (2023 – 2026)
The project integrates scientific, practical and artistic methods to investigate and insert into a public debate on the problems of bodily adaptation of refugees with chronic illnesses to a reality. While the processes of refugee adaptation are widely studied, we consider forced migration as a body experience and explore how refugees overcome deviance provoked by war and mobility through coping with the body and health problems in the new environment. The project is provided by a joint work of an art-science team. The research is localized in Finland, in the regions that accept refugees from Ukraine, Russia and Belarus.
